Students have access to a tremendous amount of factual information on the internet, but they may need some adult guidance to find it. Google is not a good place to search for documented, accurate information for homework. Please refer your child to our homework page if they are doing research at home. It is filled with wonderful online resources that have no popups and are selected by educators. Below, you will find some valuable online resources to explore.

  September 2007

INFOhio: This is our biggest online resource. INFOhio's state-funded resources are available to all Ohio's K-12 students and teachers. Username and Password required for home access; please contact your local school media specialist.

  October 2007

LEECA: Lake Erie Eduational Computer Association provides wonderful online resources. This site includes encyclopedias, magazines, tests and tutorials, etc. Please use them!

  November 2007

OPLIN:Ohio Public Library Information Network is a tremendous resource. You will need your public library card number to access some of the databases on this site. The school library recommends that every student and parent have a public library card, since we do refer to these databases when we do research.
